Since the death of my husband, Joe, in 2006, from Stage IV lung cancer likely caused by radon, I have devoted my life to the education of the danger of radioactive radon gas and methods to reduce the risk of the inhalation of these radioactive particles in homes, schools, and work environments to the general public, legislators, professionals, lung cancer organizations and medical students.
